Road To War and Gold Codes

This is my Warhammer Online site... mainly just to get some gold/points for Road To War (in case it helps at all). I'll add codes and some other stuff here as/if I get them so this site can be helpful to you too.

The leaderboard on the left allows signing up for Road To War if you haven't done so (click the bottom of the leader board). If you signup, be sure to move your marker on the map to your location and click 'submit' next to your marker, that is the final step and it's rather confusing. The poll below gives you, and me both, gold in Road To War, but you do have to come to this site and take the poll on it for me to actually get the gold as well.

What is Road To War?
Well, good question. It is a way to get people excited about Warhammer Online before it even starts... it's just a 'pre-game' which will have real impact on the actual game when it begins. The winning side in Road To War will get a bonus in Warhammer Online.

How do I get gold in Road To War?
They do have a section on how to earn gold on the Road To War site. However, I will summarize... currently to get gold (which helps your side) you just need to login everyday, so if you click "remember me" it just means going to the www.road-to-war.com site each day. Taking a poll each day (hopefully on this site!) will give you gold. Recruiting players, participating in 'battles', and entering special 'gold codes' also give you gold. There are currently no other ways to receive gold that are functional. If you signed up as the destruction realm you can now click all of the heads on this page to get additional gold. I do hope to get ahold of some gold codes and post them here when I find them.

Kill Drill Facebook Widget: (New 09/04/2008)
If you have a facebook account add the Kill Drill widget to your facebook account and get 200 gold per day for killing it, and 100 gold per day for each friend that kills it! To add it, just go to the "Embeddables" tab of "Earn Gold" on the Road to War site, click to add it, and follow the directions. After you install your Kill Drill widget, please add me to your friends list ("Bob Anja" or "Bobanja") and I will get you 100 gold each day by doing your Kill Drill (killing your dummy) and you will be able to kill mine for another 200 gold each day.

You can now find trophies on the map on the Road to War site for additional gold (1000g each). Note: You can only see trophies when using Internet Explorer (bah!)

If you zoom into the 5th zoom notch (zoomed in slightly more than half way) and go to the northeast corner of Wyoming you'll see Hulett. Center the map up a bit southwest of that and zoom in one more level, you should see Devils Tower show up now, center that on the map and zoom in to the highest zoom level and you'll see the trophy plain as day to click on.

Center up the south part of california and zoom in slightly under half way. Position the map so that you can see Las Vegas to the east and Fresno to west. There should be a small blue patch close to the center. Zoom in one notch and you should now be able to read the blue patch as being Owen's Lake. To the east and a little north there should be a triangle of sandy color about the same size as Owen's Lake. Center the norther most section of that on your map and zoom in one more notch. If you're still centered on the top of that patch, zoom in again (you should see a road "North Hwy"). Zoom in all the way, you'll see the trophy between the 500' and 1000' lines along the highway.

Warhammer Online Beta and Promotional Codes

If you are planning on playing, and you haven't done so yet, you may want to signup for a beta account. If you create a new one or if you already have one you may want to enter in the promotional code DESTRUCTION or ORDER depending on which side you'd like to play on. I think it may give you a bonus in game depending on the outcome of the Road To War... though I'm not really sure.

Important dates to remember:
September 7th - Warhammer Online open beta begins.
September 18th - Warhammer Online official launch.
